The product name of MXC-TEDA is triethylenediamine (TEDA), and its CAS number is 280-57-9. It is a solid amine compound at room temperature, a flammable crystal, and its color is white or light yellow. TEDA crystallization catalyst can accelerate the reaction between isocyanate and water and between isocyanate and organic hydroxyl group. It is a very strong polyurethane catalyst that can be used in a variety of polyurethane applications, including flexible block foams, flexible molded foams, rigid foams, semi-flexible foams and elastic foams.

Properties
It is easily soluble in water, acetone benzene, alcohol and straightchain hydrocarbon liking pentane, hexane and heptanes. Whenexposed to the air, it easily absorbs moisture to get deliquesced andagglomerated.
Application
It is mainly used in the production of flexible foam, rigid foam,shoe sole etc.

Eye contact: Corneal edema may give rise to a perception of "blue haze" or "fog" around lights. Exposed individuals may see rings around bright lights. This effect is temporary and has no known residual effect. Product vapor can cause glaucopsia (corneal edema ) when absorbed into the tissue of the eye from the atmosphere. Severe eye irritation.
Skin contact: Causes skin irritation.
