Criteria for determining flame retardants:
a) After ignition, there should be no combustion spreading to the edge or upper end of the fabric on any test sample.
b) No holes should form in any test sample after ignition.
c) There should be no burning droplets or molten objects falling from any test sample after ignition.
d) The delay time must be less than or equal to 2 seconds.
e) The smoldering time must be less than or equal to 2 seconds.
